Xylem founders begin work in precision pumping equipment for the biotech industry. This allowed the design team to understand precision micro-flow physics and other chemical processes, while honing their skills in laboratory equipment.
2014
LAUNCH OF ANOVA CULINARY
Anova Precision Cooker Sous Vide Immersion Circulators launches officially. Anova initially launched its water baths and immersion circulator products for laboratories, later transitioning into consumer products to deliver the precision temperature control of sous vide cooking to home chefs.
2020
XYLEM TECHNOLOGIES DEVELOPS X1
Engineers from Anova begin exploring the cannabis space due to the device's popularity in extraction labs in 2017. Combining the knowledge of precision pump technology as well as the precision temperature control built for Anova, Xylem was born.
