Adapters
Attachments for dab rigs and bongs. Adaptors are usually made of glass and can be used to
absorb heat, collect ashes, or catch concentrate to prevent it from seeping into the
water chamber of a bong. Adapters help two separate parts of a smoking device to fit
together. Standard adapter joints come in a variety of sizes and the ends can be either
female or male.
Anther
An anther is an oval-shaped projection at the end of the stamen in a male flower, and it
produces, stores, and distributes pollen. There are male and female cannabis plants,
unlike
other plant species. While the female plant produces flowers with a high THC content,
the
male produces pollen-filled anthers. Cannabis plants that are hermaphrodites have both
flowers and anthers.

April 20th, commonly referred to as "4/20," is an informal holiday celebrated by cannabis

marijuana. The origins of 4/20 are somewhat debated, but it's believed to have started
in
the 1970s among a group of high school students in California who would meet at 4:20
p.m. to
smoke weed. Since then, it has grown into a global cultural phenomenon, with events,
festivals, and gatherings centered around cannabis taking place on April 20th each year.
B
Back of House (BOH)
An area in dispensaries that is not visible to consumers is referred to as the "back of
house" (BOH). In addition to being the primary location for inventory managers to work,
it
is also where inventory is transferred, audited, and kept. A secure area is usually
necessary for inventory audits in most marketplaces. BOH commonly has offices, a
staff-only
bathroom and break room, safe cash storage, and storage for non-cannabis items.
Baked
When someone refers to themselves as "baked," it indicates that they are high on
cannabis.
This popular phrase is very frequently used to describe the drowsy sensation connected
to
specific strains. If you feel heavy, exhausted, hungry, or euphoric after using
marijuana,
you are considered baked.
Banger
An attachment, or adapter, for a dab rig or bong used for vaporizing concentrate
marijuana.
Bangers can be made out of glass, ceramics, quartz, or titanium depending on how heat
tolerant the the attachment needs to be. The banger attachment is shaped like a bucket

be heated using a torch or an electronic device.

Cake
Can be used as another term to call cannabis or refers to a specific strain of
indica-dominant hybrid bud that comes in different varieties such as Wedding Cake,
Birthday Cake, etc.
Calyx
The calyx is where a flower initially begins to form. It is composed of sepals, which are
tiny leaves that shield the flower at its base, and a swathe of small leaves that form
close to where the flower joins the stem.

Dab
An expression used to describe a particular kind of cannabis concentrate that is smoked
with a dab rig. Dab has a very high THC content and is often referred to as wax, budder,
or amber. In certain contexts, the term "dab" refers exclusively to Butane Hash Oil
(BHO), a kind of concentrate made from cannabis plants using butane.
Dab Mat
To catch drip-off in a dab rig, use a dab mat or dab pad. Dab mats are used beneath rigs
to shield smooth surfaces from waxy buildup and to provide cushioning to shield rigs
from scratches. Additionally, some use them to store the dabber when not in use.
E
E-nail
A specialized smoking tool for dabbers who use high-THC cannabis concentrates is called
an e-nail. Open flames are replaced with electronic nails to provide heat for dabbing
cannabis oil.
E-rig
An electronic rig, or "e-rig," is a smart device that is used to consume cannabis
concentrates. Rather than using a touch, an e-rig uses a battery to operate and heat a
nail.

Female Cannabis Plant
Male and female marijuana plants exist. This only applies to dioecious plants, such as
cannabis; it does not apply to other plants. While the male marijuana plant produces
seeds, the female plant yields flowers. When a male plant is present, pollination will
occur, resulting in unfavorable buds on female plants. Certain marijuana plants possess
both male and female reproductive parts, making them hermaphrodites.
Filter
A filter is the barrier to the preroll. Usually made of paper or cardboard, the filter in
a joint is a little piece of material that is placed at the end of the joint to filter
out undesired particles and enhance the smoking experience. Also called a crutch.

Ganja
One of the earliest colloquialisms for smoking-related dried cannabis flowers. The word
first appeared in writing in the late 17th century. The term, which originated in Hindi,
was taken up by the Rastafari movement and is widely used in Jamaica. A colloquial word
for marijuana is "ganja." Although the name originated in India, it is now linked with
the West Indies.

knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate cannabis quality effectively.

Hand Flling
The most basic kind of vape filling. Hand filling is when vape cartridges and devices are
injected with cannabis vape oil manually. The operator is in charge of the entire
filling process using instruments like heaters, syringes, and needles.
Hardware
Metal, silicone, glass, and ceramic components of vapes and other electronically powered
cannabis smoking devices.
