Carding is the technique of sorting dried cannabis flowers for trichomes using a card. To separate the trichomes (high cannabinoid-content glands) and eliminate extra material, the flowers are dragged through screens using a plastic card. Carding can also mean that marijuana shops verify your identification before letting you buy legal marijuana.
