Back of House (BOH)
An area in dispensaries that is not visible to consumers is referred to as the "back of house" (BOH). In addition to being the primary location for inventory managers to work, it is also where inventory is transferred, audited, and kept. A secure area is usually necessary for inventory audits in most marketplaces. BOH commonly has offices, a staff-only bathroom and break room, safe cash storage, and storage for non-cannabis items.
